Input Inductors

Input inductors

Description

Prowell Technology manufactures input inductors to provide a low AC ripple current to the input of switching power supplies that are used in many different industries.

How Does an Input Inductor Work?

Input inductors work by using a conductor that is wound into a coil to generate a magnetic field. If the current suddenly rises, an electromotive force is applied against the current, thus reducing it. If the current suddenly drops, an electromotive force is generated in the same direction, thus increasing it.
